We are very happy to share a new feature we recently added at ShopClues.com, called dispute resolution intermediation. At ShopClues merchant rating by buyers go long way for penalizing or rewarding a merchant and a useful data for consideration by other visitors at ShopClues.com. Buyers at ShopClues provide feedback to merchants in terms of merchant rating. A one star rating for a merchant by buyer is a negative rating. We are now allowing merchants to request a dispute resolution and if merchant and buyer are satisfied as part of dispute resolution intermediation by ShopClues, the merchant's rating is changed to a neutral rating. The dispute is considered as resolved only after the concerned buyer agrees that the issue is resolved to her/his satisfaction.
While, buyer has all rights to give negative rating to a merchant, sometime merchant is willing to undo something, which caused buyer unhappiness to begin with, in that case why not to have a win-win for buyer and merchant. For buyer his or her issue has bee resolved and for merchant a negative rating has been changed to neutral. We feel this will encourage more merchants to fix an issue that caused customer unhappiness vs. just remain ignorant or inattentive for that issue.

Now you can request Gift Wrap your online shopping at ShopClues. When you are shopping at ShopClues, you can have the items you buy gift wrapped for a nominal fee of Rs. 25 (including service tax).
