Print Invoice Services

Feature Description

Currently we have feature on production through which we can generate invoices on merchant’s behalf. This feature had lot of legal interaction which we have to comply by. After full-fledged launch of this feature Shopclues would be able to create invoice on merchant behalf.

Improvements

In this phase we have to make some important improvements in the existing functionality

1. Merchant need to register shopclues as a sales tax location and submit a copy in the sales the tax department and submit a copy of the same with us for records
2. There should be a cancellation of invoice functionality in the admin
3. Dashboard to be given to the merchant where merchant can easily check the status of invoice series like total invoice series used, invoices cancelled, invoices remaining, etc.

How it will be done

1. Only selected merchants whom we allow from admin will be able to see the invoice manager link on store manager. a. This needs to be managed from the merchant set up panel on admin. It should be just a check box which will allow the merchant to access the invoice feature on store manager else merchant would not be able to see this .
2. There are two levels of checks which we have to do for any merchant to access invoice service a. Is the merchant allowed to access invoice manager (explained in step above) b. Did the merchant submitted the sales tax certificate (allowed shopclues to print invoices) and is approved by shopclues that document submitted is valid and fair to allow merchant to use this service
3. Once the merchant is allowed to access Invoice manager (step 2.a) but he has not yet submitted the sales tax copy then he would see a panel where merchant can submit a copy in the form of PDF/DOC which will be emailed to merchant support for approval
4. Once merchant support sees that the document submitted by the merchant is good and should be allowed to access invoice service then merchant support should have the option to allow merchant to access invoice feature on store manager
